I've been musing a lot about Stephen and how interesting his Catalan identity is, and that got me writing, so for the purposes of a couple of drabbles:
How do you say "grandma" in the informal, fond way -- like the Spanish "abuelita" rather than "abuela"?
What do Catalans call Castillian-speaking Spaniards when they are expressing simple exasperation or even an angrier feeling? (for example, how Jews use the word "goy" for Gentiles and Spanish-speakers use "gringo," not necessarily meaning much but with an undertone of something, whether it be frustration or a vague hostility, etc.)
What're some Catalan endearments for little kids?
