Advent Calendar Day 11: C&H A&M
Aubrey & Maturin in the style of Calvin & Hobbes.
A tribute to this image by the brilliant Bill Watterson (of which there are some absolutely splendid take-offs for other fandoms; I considered that an Aubreyad version was long overdue).
Colouring is taking significantly longer than anticipated, so I'll post the completed image here when it's done. Until then, I present it in the classic weekday-strip-mode of black-and-white. :)
