Oh, hee, this is FABULOUS. I loved Warhorses of Letters and this is a pitch-perfect pastiche of it! Sophie is just as dim as Copenhagen, and the endearments by the Desaix - brilliant!

I'm glad you like it! As I had just finished listening to all 4 episodes of series 1 before I started writing it was, quite literally, ringing in my ears and translated far far too easily to the ships!

Well quite! Although the really weird thing is, even though they are both female, Desaix at least speaks with Stephen Fry's voice!! That's just not right...

Somehow I feel it is perfectly logical that Desaix speaks like SF, I mean, could you imagine her á la Mirren?
