You have to thank ferox for the ending - mine was more dismal. Kind of trying to explain another reason why Jack doesn't think much of it whenever he pulls a man out of the water.

The story could easily have been one of O'Brian's prequels to the Aubreyad.

I love how George is not daunted by Stephen's glare at all.

His wet clothes were pulled off him and he was wrapped in a somewhat drier coat.
Nearly like young Calamy!
