Lurker here, sharing some terrible terrible fanart XD I rewatched Master And Commander recently, and had my sketchpad nearby. I apologize in advance.
It's very scetchy, I know DX The two leftmost pictures of Jack and Stephen are the ones I actually tried to make look like Bettany and Crowe, though success is a matter of opinion; Jack looks a little old, but I don't know how to get across the huge eye-sockets Crowe has otherwise. The rest are just doodles drawn after I decided MAYBE I SHOULD WATCH THE MOVIE INSTEAD OF ONLY LOOKING UP WHEN STEPHEN OR JACK WAS ON SCREEN, sob. The other drawings of Jack and Stephen are not as good, but were more fun to draw, because lol, malapropisms and lizards.
Non-inked doodles are just... doodles. I drew these at like 11pm, some of it is quite weird, like trying to draw one of those French stocking-caps (and failing), or having Hornblower come in and give his thoughts on the emotional state of the Surprise. L-lol, I don't even know anymore.
I should also say that I'm reading HMS Surprise right now, and going through mandc_read's old posts has been really helpful! Thanks everybody :D
