Yuletide FYI
Hi there! I've just signed up to this comm (I'm sorry to say I didn't know it existed, which is very sad considering how long tootsiemuppet has been on my flist) and I'm here to (hopefully) inspire Yuletide fic activity (as in, I am trying to get tootsiemuppet to sign up and I think you should all both cheer her on and do it too!).
The Yuletide fic exchange is one of my very favorite parts of the holiday season. I get to request fic from a bunch of fandoms I don't normally see a lot of fic for, and I get to write something for someone in exchange! There are over 2500 possible fandoms, including:
Master and Commander (movie)
Patrick OBrian - Master and Commander series
I did Yuletide last year, and I really enjoyed it; I thought you all might like to know about it (imagine getting your very own Master and Commander fic!). I'm hoping many of you already do know about it and participate, but I also thought it couldn't hurt to post in case there were people who simply didn't know.
