I know 2009 sucked for a lot of people, so I feel fortunate that I had another good year, despite the Fiance being in a war zone for over half of it (Hey! He came back in one piece! It's yet another reason to feel blessed). Work continues to offer new challenges, and I finally figured out a direction for my future at my company. I had two trips to L.A., one to Seattle, and a family vacation in Nashville. I made new friends. I had a lot of free time to pursue my interests. I developed a new hobby (cooking). And my Mr.Right asked me to marry him.

Work:
Learn enough about C# and .Net to put together a sample project using the SDK. Bought a C# book that said one should be well versed in Java before reading it, so I am teaching myself Java first
Establish a presence in relevant forums (MathML, XML, XSL to start) I've joined several forums and check them regularly. Haven't had much to say yet.
