Article from Entertainment Weekly on Mario Lavandeira aka Perez Hilton

br />Before you read this I want you to realize that since I launched perezrevenge.com more mass media outlets have started to write stories that question the validity of Mario's actions, arguments and reasoning.

At some point I can only hope that the readers of his site question his morality and realize it isn't really a game, or a stand-up comedy act by his "alter" self.

I'm finally going to speak out about a few things, and hope that I don't sound angry. The things I am going to say and the way I say them are filled with frustration.

I have been alone fighting a battle for celebrities who refuse to acknowledge me. They follow Mario on Twitter and have public conversations with him, my readers get upset and write to me and ask me why? I always explain that they shouldn't be upset or judge, a lot of what they do is based on a fear (which is obviously lessening) of Mario.

I have not seen one mass media outlet take any of my exclusives and link back to my site. Instead one or two days later they talk the same person I did and write their own story and get all the credit.

I am battling a legal opponent who outfights with his money and not with any merit or claims based on fact.

He has never been forced to give "discovery," and has given one deposition that lasted less than a couple of hours in which he claimed amnesia for every question.

Back to the subject at hand, Entertainment Weekly and their Mario article. I read it, and it only solidified my thoughts. He proudly explains how he takes no prisoners, destroys peoples lives and has a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others, and this is termed anti-social behavior.

The anti-social behavior is well documented, but I was also wondering about his lack of morality for a long time, as well as exhibitionism and narcissistic manner in which he overshadows any event.

Think back to the democratic race for president, the Presidential race, NOH8 Campaign and so on. Every one of these events he overshadowed with outlandish hurtful lies and gossip that was used to draw attention away from the cause or event and point it toward him.

You may wonder about the more recent, forgotten and overshadowed, Miss USA Pageant and the winner, Kristen Dalton (I had to google her name). Why was Mario even asked to judge?

The attention and news that was focused on Mario and his personal venomous battle with Carrie Preajan completely eclipsed the entire Miss USA contest. His need for attention, and his inability to argue maturely, without name calling (as we see is his modus operandi) caused untold damage to the gay community by uniting the forces against gay marriage in the United States.

He took all of the excitement and hype away from The Much Music Awards in Toronto. It was obvious that Mario was begging for attention, just look at his attire from the red-carpet, hair and face colored pink. When that may not have been enough for him he resorted to name calling and subsequently took the alleged punishment for his immaturity.

Has anyone calculated the money spent and lost on the award show as well as album sales due to the fact that nothing was written about the award ceremony? The real victim was the show and every artist trying to be recognized and sell their music.

I have never met Mario. I have met attorneys from his retained NY law firm, and only spoken to two of his CA counsel. I can't obviously say there is something medically wrong with him. I'm not a doctor and my time in medical school was for the purpose of earning a degree in Medical Illustration. I thought I would do a little research into the region within the brain that controls morality and decision making between "right from wrong." It is known as the ventromedial prefrontal cortex, and is located on both sides of the brain and behind the eyes.

"In fact, the people with damage in this region due to stroke or other causes experienced severely diminished empathy, compassion and sense of guilt. The new findings seem to confirm its central role in guiding certain moral judgments like life-or-death scenarios."

I don't know what "makes him tick," and I will never understand his need to be so hurtful and mean. As a parent I would never allow my children to say or act out the way he does and as a human being I have never treated anyone the way he does on a regular basis. I simply cannot relate to his moral character on any level. I don't want to say we should hate him, I find myself feeling sorry for his lack of cognizance over his situation.  MORE
