you should ask goo about his, since his is newer, but i like mine. the camera is crappy, but it's still possible to take decent photos with it (particularly with the app 'camerabag', which is fun). the size is vanishingly small, as far as i'm concerned, it sits in my front pocket and is noticeable enough that i pat frantically if it's missing, but never uncomfortable. the glass screen is completely without scratches after 1.5 years' use. my sister managed to dent the frame, but other than that it's been impervious to damage (knock knock). it still lasts for two days' worth of not talking on the phone (come on, it is me (that is to say, the only person who lacks a livejournal account) we're talking about), along with sporadic browsing over wi-fi and over the air, and lately, addictive video game play. watching movies on the small screen is more immersive than you'd think. the maps are just like google maps, except live (i don't have gps on my purchased-on-day-one model). the only time i max out the space on it is when i have a ton of south park episodes or movies on it. as for typing, yes, you have to look at it while typing. other than that, with two thumbs, it can be plenty fast. my first-gen one has been bulletproof, but i understand that the second generation has had some bugs that have been/are being worked out. you might want to ask dave s. or james m. also, read david pogue's eviscerating of the new blackberry in the ny times.

hope this helps...
