The Three Wise Men
They came as expected, on Jan 6th, saddlebags lighter than usual but still. This year we made a kind of "secret santa" pact. 50 eur max, one present per person and the difference with what you would have spent goes to a local charity.
So I got a new edition of Montaigne's Essays. It came out this year, updated translation in "modern" Spanish side by side with the French original. I'm absolutely thrilled for many reasons. One, because I used to love Montaigne. two, because it is really a beatiful edition, and third becase it seems a great chance for me to get back into reading.
Anyway, I had started re reading Tolkien's letters, in an effort to pick up the habit of reading. Not fiction yet, but I hope I'll get there.
