Landscapes and People
I'm really tired and still have a lot to do. I came back yesterday, back home in this cold winter, I'm terribly jet lagged and still have a couple weeks of writing furiously still the job is done. So, I'm sharing a selection of pictures, most of them showing the better parts of the trip.
Sun and sea and warm weather and beautiful colors for the greatest part, even when many sandy, coconut-lined beaches are being washed away by erosion and sea levels rising due to climate change; fisheries are slowly but steadily being exhausted by over exploitation, leaving behind ruined livelihoods and businesses... happy-looking people in gaily coloured stilt houses actually live well away from opportunities while surrounded by a world of plenty and someties idylic-looking islands are actually the safe havens of drug dealers.
