closets
no matter where i look or what i clean, more evidence of laura arises. it is surprising to discover the nigh endless evidence little gifts she sent me and the reality of the bond that has been disintegrating for the past year. the time before last summer has distinct characteristics from the past year.
simultaneous to this is the reaffirmation of the future to come, of the places, behaviors, and realities that await a presence in my life. some of these aspects have played small, ethereal, and/or indeterminate roles in the past two years, even the past three, and will continue to this coming year; though i suppose that such things will be distinguishable from the time to follow.
all items have histories and it is disheartening that some of these items have had years of quiet, solemn, encapsulated history in boxes, closets, and shelves.
