gotta bring the rest of the plants in

Dec 10, 2009 20:11

gonna be really cold tonight so i have to bring in my herbs and a couple of geraniums and the passion flower which might not actually be alive anymore. the brugmansia is currently in the kitchen under the skylight and it actually still has a lot of leaves on it, so perhaps it likes it there and will stay that way all winter rather than me trying to get it into the living room ?

I got a massage today which I really needed. my shoulder/back/whiplash etc. have been really bothering me lately probably with stress, work, dyeing, drawing, and generally going crazy.

my classes are over. final project for drawing from nature class didnt really come out like I had hoped but it was ok. finally had a model for figure drawing in class on tuesday, would have rather have had more than one week of that. I didn't get into the insect drawing class but I am on the wait list; I have a digital process class in January 2 days a week. work is picking up so hopefully I find a way to balance this all out and not go crazy. would have liked to take the human anatomy class too. weirdly enough I never took a human anatomy class for biology; I did physiology at bowdoin, but then went to oz and got into Vert. Zoo and marine stuff and I don't think anatomy was offered there to year 2 and 3 people.

I don't really have christmas shopping to do. I'm not sure who I will get presents for, actually. There's a lot of stuff that I actually need, like shoes and pants and stuff... maybe i will go out to some sales or something. I want to find comfortable stuff which is warm but not a fleecy. I love love love this new sweater I got which is made from wool from nepal and it is really really soft. Kind of want to go back and see if she has other ones.

I am so ready for 2009 the YEAR OF TOTAL SUCKING HELL to be done with.

well ok, it didn't totally suck, I did get to go to Le Tour. but mostly it sucked.
