All the time friends ask me how many things I'm knitting. It's a logical question, since I carry around a huge bag usually full of at least two projects. My usual answer is "a lot" but here's the answer in more detail.
- Scarf. Stripey, for a friend. Very, very pretty.
- Scarf. For Jerry. Gray. I may never finish this, I don't like how the yarn feels while knitting, so I keep pushing it aside.
- Scarf. For bedtime knitting. It stays in my nightstand drawer.
- Scarf. For the car. You know, just in case.
- Scarf. For me. Stripey. I recently realized I'm going to run out of yarn before I finish this. Note: go to yarn store.
- Scarf. For someone. Nice bright colors, this is brainless knitting.
- Ear warmer. For riding instructor.
- Socks. For Jerry. On hold while I get up the will to rip back several inches and reknit to fit his skinny ankles.
- Neck warmer. For father-in-law. Or one of my parents. Or possibly me.
- Hat. For Katie. On hold until I get some help out of the mess I've made.
- Sweater. For me. Currently a tiny scrap of a thing that more closely resembles a very long bookmark.
- Baby blanket. For who? I don't even know yet. Actually, I don't even know where this blanket is.
To be honest, I've probably forgotten something.
