Back to normal (mostly)
The chickens greeted me this morning with a loud, demanding "Bok! Bahhk! BOK!" That translates, usually, as "LET US OUT!" I thought that, like the last few days, I'd open the door and they'd see the snow and say "Oh. Nevermind."
Today, though, they hopped out and began eating snow and pecking at everything in sight. Soon the showed that the fence we had constructed to limit their movements was going to do no good. They hopped up on a little platform and then flapped into the yard. "Bok. Bok. BOK!"
General landed in the one patch of green grass, Cashew went for the back porch and Tweety wandered around in a patch of clear cement. Silly bird.
Now, of course, they are hanging out on my back porch. We have got to get a way to keep them off of there. That or potty train them.
