First big step
Jerry and I would like to have some chickens in our backyard. Chickens, you say, but don't they need a place to live?
Yes, why yes they do. In fact, we now have one, thanks to Laura over at the Urban Hennery. She's upgraded to a country spot for her and her hens, and needed a new home for her chicken coop. So we happily obliged.
It's not set up in our yard yet, when it is I'll post pictures. And when we finally have chickens, I'll let you hear all about that.
(I'm doing my best not to let Jerry name them. He suggested Kung Pao, General Tsao and Sweet and Sour. When I mentioned we would be unlikely to eat the hens he suggested Over Easy, Fried and Hard Boiled.)
