72!!
It is GORGEOUS here. I was finally able to ride all the way home from work with the windows down. Once I got home, I shut off the a/c and opened all the windows to let the house air out. Everything feels so fresh outside.
When I first opened the windows, my dogs got freaked out. One of them kept pointing the window and barking. I finally had to hold him up to the window and let him sniff to make him stop barking. It was probably a lot funnier in person, because you can't see him lifting his head to howl while he points and then dancing around for a new angle to do the same thing again. (The nice thing about having two dogs do this is that you can triangulate their lines of sight... or smell, as the case may be.)
Nothing much else going on. Still haven't heard back from the job I interviewed for, so I guess that's not looking good. The bookstore is starting to be a drag. I spent the entire day having someone else rearrange my department without my input. Apparently, they started yesterday (while I was off) and wanted to finish today. Some of it needed to be done, but how about not screwing up the arrangement I've worked so hard to coordinate? Or not rearranging the displays that I've painstakingly built over the last few months? At least not without asking me and gathering my ideas. I am so much better than this job.
