The University
The universidad de concepción was built in the mid 1900´s, modeled after the university of california-berkeley. A campanile stands at the center followed by a huge grass field with buildings close by in a 1 km radius. Last night, seeing the clock tower lit, reminded me dearly of the university i left behind, and upon first seeing it on our first tour, i knew that it would be a warm reminder of home. The campus is beautiful, and is often said that is the most aesthetically pleasing out off all universities in chile. Thankfully I am located only ten minutes away.
