*squees*

Come in! How are you doing? Want some to eat? How's Ryn, does he need a drink of water?

Woah, *giggles* calm down atar.

*huggles*

I'm okay, cookies or candy would be nice. Ryn's fine, sure I think he'd like that.

*nibbles on a cookie*

Things are good, I got a new uncle, well he's not really my uncle, I've claimed him as a honorary uncle, and I met daernana Melian! And oh, his name is Beleg he's a wood-elf like papa!
Ada is behaving quite weirdly, he's gone into a cleaning fit and making things tidy all the time. :S

*babbles on*

*listens attentively*

Oh? When did you see Melian?

That'll be nesting syndrome. ;)

A couple of days ago when papa went to see her for something. I went with him and it was also then that I met Beleg. :)

You mean it's normal? :S

It's nice that you're meeting more of your actual family. :)

Uh-huh. Lots of pregnant women get the urge to make things tidy and clean. Not entirely sure why. We call it nesting syndrome because it's like they're making a nice "nest" for the baby.

*nods* I like it, even if it is confusing to figure how they are all related to me.

*crawls on your lap and cuddles* :)

Weird. And spontanuous nosebleeds? Are those normal too? It looks scary, daddy suddenly sneezes and then there's blood.

You've got a pretty massive family, it's true.

*hugs* :)

Um...I've heard it can happen. Hormones do strange things. Cruel mun, I'd guess.

*snuggles closer to you*

Why would anyone want to have a baby then if there's all these nasty things happening?

Reply

gil_estel August 31 2004, 14:29:43 UTC
Because it's worth it in the end. :)

*cocks his head to the side curiously* How so?

Because then you get to do fun things like explain how the world works to your curious little child. ;)

How is that fun? Having to answer lots and lots of questions?
