Ouch...

Waking up isn't supposed to hurt. At least, I thought that is how is worked. Today, I woke up with my back in knots and just lifting my head off the pillow sents shivers of agony down my spine. Of course, I know why it hurts. I spent almost five hourse cutting the grass. The meadow had so many ruts and holes that my spine will take a few days to recover.

Still, this isn't nearly as bad as the first week of rowing practice. That was truly wretched. Then, just opening my eyes hurt.

In other news, I finally got my tickets to Richmond for the end of the month. I'll be going through Detroit on Northwest again. I really dislike Northwest. For one, they try to serve trail mix (at a cost) on all their flights. I hate trail mix. I have seen enough of it to last several lifetimes. That and the most recent stuff was expired. Of course, it's fine while I am on a backpacking trip. Trail mix and poptarts are fine out on the trail. In real life, I can't stand either of them. I suppose it is a matter of necessity. When calories are strickly rationed, I can force down the trail mix and like it. When I have a choice, I avoid the stuff like the plague.
