What is this place?
Since creating this journal, I have gone through periods where I posted quite a lot. The vast majority of those posts are currently designated either friends-protected or entirely private, leaving the journal with a rather deforested look. My profile, too, has become much less helpful, except to those who are actually interested in the mythological figure of Perdix. I believe the last tiny pinholes through which to glimpse my "true self" are the nine linked entries marked "memorable" in my profile - although it is possible that those, too, will prove inaccessible to others.
I don't know if or when I will resume posting anything of substance to this journal. For now, I read my friends page every day, and show my face primarily in comments on other people's entries. Through those small, quiet conversations, I hope it may be possible to connect in ways not less genuine for being small and quiet. I am not hiding from everyone; just from everyone at once.
