What I did today
Today I did no taxes. However, I very efficiently sorted out the cancellation of insurances, telephones and utilities before filing away a whole bunch of papers.
Then Motoko made a heap of Japanese food, I bought a load of drink and we invited the neighbours around for a goodbye boozeup. I've mentioned before about how friendly and neighbourly the Mews here is. This summer we had a communal barbecue and a separate hog roast involving the families around the Mews. The folks here have been very good to us these past two years and we wanted to say thanks.
We're going to miss this place. We really are.
