Roll-y Poll-ies
Dirt streaked her cheeks, her hair, and most of the old shirt she wore. Percy didn’t remember her at first. When she saw him there, she’d raced forward with a dozen tiny round pebbles in her hand, shoving them right under his eyes.
“These insects have all been found frozen to death, with is a sure sign that the lipless Hungarian Ice Beetle has been roaming in your garden.”
“I beg your pardon.”
“As you should, Mr. Weasley. Imagine an employee of the Ministry letting a crazed insect terrorize a garden.”
“Who-?”
“Luna Lovegood. This calls for a serious investigation.”

Tree Frogs
He found her sitting alone on the back porch, listening to the sounds of the night. June bugs chirped away in their ever vigilant song, and a smile slowly crept over her lips. She didn’t look at him when he sat beside her.
“Millicent, it’s not safe for you to be out here alone,” he said softly.
“Will you listen to those tree frogs? They never know when to give up.”
There was the vital difference between them. When he heard June bugs, she heard tree frogs. He saw thought she was beautiful, and she didn’t.
“Let’s go in, love.”
