a cozy october evening
currently in the oven is a bread pudding that i've made because we had some rather stale baguette in the fridge. however, it was not enough bread to make a full giant bread pudding, so i couldn't really use a recipe, so i winged it. hopefully it will be edible!

that was my cat cali stepping on my keyboard as she tried to get to a comfortable position on my lap. now she is settled in and purring all sweetly, trying to make me forget she woke me up several times before breakfast this morning.
having quite a cozy evening in - j made me eggy ramen, which i crave like once a week, especially when needing to feel cozy or comforted. it's october, and i am once again in my happy place.
i also spent some time tonight shopping on etsy for costume-bits. i am SO looking forward to halloween. i should buy a pumpkin soon!
