update on throat of fire
went to the doc, described my symptoms, which don't really match strep. but then the doc took a look at my throat.
"oh wow!" said the doc.
"oh my god!" said the med student.
they kind of apologized but explained that they get really excited when there is something abnormal for the med student to look at.
wooo i'm abnormal!
so yeah, she thinks it is strep. i have antibiotics, and the throat culture will tell us for sure tomorrow or monday.
now i'm hoping j doesn't get it from me, but he was feeling sick last night and this morning with a headache and throat ache.
send us all your healing vibes, internets. i'm going to get more sleep.
