lemony fresh!
so it's like a billion degrees in my house. ok, maybe not a billion, but it was about 88 when i got home. it's cooling off now, as i've got fans pulling cooler air into the house.
but that's not what i wanted to tell you.
for dinner i had a veggie corn dog, and finally figured the best way to heat it up. microwave for a minute, then toaster oven. beats the soggie just micro'd way, and the burnt just toaster oven'd way. turns out, however, i still don't enjoy them that much. after the package is done i won't be buying more. and i had had such high hopes for these! man, i love me some corndogs. just not these, i guess.
but that's not what i wanted to tell you either.
as i was getting out something for me to drink with my corndog, i rinsed off a cup and was shaking it dry and oopsie. i banged it into the side of the sink and broke it. it makes me sad because it was one of a set of 6 that i got for a birthday present, and they are just so cute. also i cut myself a bit, and made a bit of a mess with shards of glass. everything is cleaned up now, so that's good.
but that is also not what i wanted to tell you.
what i wanted to tell you was that i cleaned my bathtub. it's practically freakin sparkling. and i cleaned it the most amazing way ever. i sprinkled baking soda all around, and then took a lemon (yes, a lemon!) and cut it in half, squeezed the lemon juice all over, and the scrubbed with the lemon. and it's amazing! and the lemon rind did a wonderful job of scrubbing off all the soap scum, and seriously if that wasn't the nicest smelling way of cleaning the bathtub ever. and now it's beautiful, and no harm to the peeling enamel parts.
so that's what i wanted to share.
