i read a lot of webcomics, and tend to get the peripheral news from time to time. there's been some scuttlebut recently about plagiarism and art theivery. it appears that the guy who does the David and Goliath line of products is a big asshat. he's basically not doing anything original, just ripping off everyone else - webcomics, other artists, clip art, you name it. and now his lawyers are writing letters to every blog that's talked about it, crying defamation of character.
