holy shit, president nancy bekavac is leaving scripps. holy shit.
got that in an email from scripps, but it struck me as weird because there's no real *reason* in her letter for her to leave.
so i talked to my co-worker, whose father is in the know for the claremont community.
the scuttlebutt around town is that the board was tired of her attitude, they asked her for an evaluation, and she didn't want to submit to it, and so she was basically forced to step down.
other gossip - she may be heading off to NY or DC to fundraise for hilary clinton.
