the best thing about fall
is pumpkin ice cream at cold stone. mmmmmmm. ok, maybe that's not the best thing, but it is awesome nonetheless.
another yummy breakfast was had today with the cuteboy, plus ky and mike. the kitchen was filled with delicious smells and the eggs i had were so very tasty.
also i did an errand trip with thesuperalice which included ice cream and yarn. any trip that includes ice cream and yarn i consider a success.
other than that, today's been kind of a stay-at-home and get stuff done in the domestic sense day. i washed some clothing and hung it all to dry, washed some sheets and blankets, and put away the halloween decorations. i also trimmed china's claws, which we all know she loves. *ahem* maybe not. anyways, i think soon i will put down the computer and get to work on the crochet i need to do. i've also been longing to look at old photos of me and my friends, so i got those out and want to make some piles of photos to scan and post. been feeling nostalgic, you know.
my parents are in town on tuesday, staying for just under a week. not staying here, but at a hotel with a pool. since they love to have an evening swim or hot-tub when they are on vacation. so i shall be busy entertaining for a while, which means i should probably think up some fun things to do. last time they were here it was so hot we wanted to die, so we went to the long beach aquarium rather than walking around the huntington gardens or la arboretum. so maybe i'll do one of those two with them this trip. oh, or maybe the descanso gardens, i've never been there. hmmm. well, something to think about. hell, or any number of museums out here. man, too much to choose from. :)
ok, darlings. i am going to go back to domestic bliss, listening to the crane wife on repeat and do some crochet. until tomorrow!
