the big questions in life
ok, i find myself with an opportunity. but i am torn. and so i turn to you, dear lj friends, to help me figure out my mind.
here's the situation:
my friend has a timeshare condo in hawaii. she has booked it for a week at the end of november (after thanksgiving). she has invited me to join her and her sister for fun girl time in maui.
pros:
* hotel is paid for, meaning i only have to buy plane ticket, and whatever food/expenses i have there
* i am sure i would have a fantastic time
* it would be one helluva nice present for my birthday
cons:
* i *would* have to pay for my plane ticket, and even some money is more than no money
* i probably should save $$$ for future events/vacations
* i would miss being near cuteboy for the second birthday in a row
on the other hand - i can celebrate my birthday with everyone when i get back, i wouldn't miss thanksgiving, and it would be hawaii!
so what do you think?
