eyes open breathing hard you've forgotten where you are again for a second disoriented and not just because of where you've remembered you are memories of eyes closed blonde hair sleeping form lips passion grab her dogtags and pull her close grab your glasses run your fingers through your disheveled hair sitting up in bed in the dark alone dreams are strange and trecherous things close your eyes try to remember the one you should be missing fingers turn on the bedside lamp grab the sheets close your eyes deny the tears anger and passion are only one step apart but how did this come about from this traitorous feeling grip the bedsheets tighter in your fingers that miss her but still feel the dogtags and beautiful white skin of dreams deny these things in waking hours fixation duty love shove aside things you know you're feeling deep down surface when you're asleep.
