More TS3 Pets spam
Here's one of the creepy eyeless horses hanging out with a bald Tuesday as she steals her neighbors vegetables.
It's cool though, the horse helped himself to some too. This was another neighbors horse who hung out with Tues while its owner wooed the pretty next door neighbor.
Tuesday is an animal lover so the horse let her do the 'brush' interaction, but wouldn't let her do the 'clean hooves' one. Super cute animals, but the eye thing, it bugs me.
Wild foal running around. Your sims can actually sit and watch them and that's cool. Or try and befriend one if it hangs out at the lot.

Another wild horse, this one really didn't like Tuesday. I'm guessing they had aggressive or skittish as a trait.

Yeah horse was like, 'nope don't like her, don't want to be adopted.'
So one of the neighbors was offering free foals and I had her get one. This is midnight (I believe the same neighbors will always offer foals the first few days in the new hood, though I'm not sure if it is always the same breed).
And you can bottle feed the foal. *makes maniac motions of joy*
Yet again though the babies are always more limited than the adults. Also the guys farm was way the hell on the other side of the town so the poor foal (his name was midnight though you can change that) had to run for a sim hour to make it home.
You can build relationships with the animals. I haven't had a chance to play with kittens yet, or check and see if small/large dogs can interbreed. I hated that they couldn't too madame_ugly. It bugged me in TS2. And just like babies/toddlers I have an urge to age up the puppies/kittens/foals to a more 'interesting' life stage. Also I do like that unicorns are the special creature. As much as I adore werewolves, I'm glad they went with something that hasn't been seen in the series before and I'll be curious to see how hard it is to find the unicorn and befriend it. Besides horse/unicorn babies? Yes please.
I do have to say I really like the expansion, it's a resource hog, but all of TS3 is and I have to say for content it's hands down my favorite expansion. I love pets. For introducing mechanics it's my second favorite (Ambitions just added so much to jobs), followed closely by Generations (anything that makes kids/teens more interesting or lets me send them away to boarding school is A+ in my book). I'm definitely pleased even if the horses are creepy.
My system is acting up so trying to play is painfully slow though I want to. Like you wouldn't believe I want to and play with dogs and cats!Luckily we ordered some parts and are going to be building me a new gaming PC so the slowness and other hang ups should clear up in a couple of weeks (like the awful grinding and my inability to play the latest generation of MMO's on my current system). The husband and I are gamers and play a lot of MMO's together so yeah, it was time for an upgrade. I hope to have more pic spam soon. Especially since courtney_shea and fantasyrogue both had ones up and OMG I need a cat to get to see the lap sitting animation!
And you know, be able to actually make and share animals for pixel_trade. I'm really hoping people share pets, I want to put them in my game.
