Viking Death Squad - TS3 Style Generation 01 Round 02
Last time Cambia and Victor's larva grew into children. This time Cambia hunts a man that will give her heirs so we can finally get to the 2nd generation of Hardbottles. There is also a non-heir poll to be had! Sims by simmytizzy (founder), petchy_14, gheez and engram_au appear.
We start this update with a birthday!
Ah Victor, if you guys weren't too poor to buy a cake you would have totally had a party.
T-minus sparkle.

Yes, Nott, I know you'd rather be painting, but let's not have you fail elementary school just this once okay?
Meanwhile...Cambia, being unable to get either Richard petchy_14 or Lugas gheez to come hang out with her and make real legacy babies I had engram_au's Devon November join the next door bachelor pad.
While Cambia went over to introduce herself Victor inexplicably wanted to go to the library and read about raising babies. I think he knows what's coming.
They hit it off well, talking about money. Devon is much younger than Cambia who is only a couple days away from adulthood.

And yes, Lugas and Richard are no longer available. This just makes my heart melt a little. <3
So now knowing that Devon is her only option (and what a cute option he is) Cambia ramps up the sex appeal.
That's right lure him in Cambia...yeah, make me feel sleazy.
Cambia loves a man that can support her.
Good good. He doesn't reject her kisses, he came over, he's on the bed...
Cambia has made her intentions clear...
And then he was shocked. *headdesk* SERIOUSLY DEVON?! You got in bed with her man!
But he's okay with making out all day.

Nothing to see here Victor, Cambia, who has no sense of humor, is just making funny faces with the cute, young next door neighbor...yup...nothing to worry about...
Needless to say he had the heartbroken/betrayed moodlet and his relationship with Cambia tanked. :(
So with her relationship pretty much destroyed there was no reason to hide her affair.
However despite being a regular around the house, he still wouldn't put out. Which drove me crazy.
The girls...well Nott focused on her painting.
Bestla discovered she was a natural fisherwoman.
And Helga glued herself to the chess table outside.
While Victor fixated on the affair and slept in the girls room.
Finally on Cambia's birthday Devon said yes to spending the night.
Didn't even take his pants off people! This was some hardcore woohoo.
And then it was jingling and birthday!
Oh yeah.
Yay she's an adult! Now quickly feed Devon before he dies...
Or you know, steals Bestla's dinner. 0.o
Meanwhile Victor decided enough was enough.
And even Nott stopped painting to consider putting on pants.

Who decided he wanted to tell Victor a joke...
Um. Yeah. No.
During the fight I see flash overhead, 'Devon thinks Victor dislikes him' and I literally hit my head on my desk.
'Devon thinks Victor just kicked his ass.'
And you better not think about stealing one of the kid's dinners either mister!
So then Victor wanted to both declare Devon his nemesis and scare him so I had him do the later...
Thus scaring himself in the process.
After which I see 'Victor thinks Devon is okay' flash up top. ::headdesk::

Alas Victor stopped parading around in his underpants. I don't think he felt comfortable enough anymore.
Cambia ended up making and eating dinner alone often since the girls had a closer relationship with their father.
And Victor continued fixing things around the house.
They'd just started sharing a bed again when Devon started calling at all hours of the night. Putting even more strain on their thin relationship.
And Nott...grew up.
Much to the twins annoyance.

Just as Cambia starts to show. Damn she looks haggard there. :( She also expressed the wish to have a boy so I locked it for her. Let's see if she has one. I also gave her fertility since I don't want to have to continue to ruin her relationship with Victor because I'm an idiot and can't follow the rules.
So Week 4 Mini-challenge 6:6 Quills: authors abound and every sim in your house hold that has the option available on a computer to write a novel, must write a novel. Randomly roll between these sims to designate one sim who must quit their job and write FIVE novels in the week.
I rolled Nott to complete the five novels, but I didn't have her quit high school. Let's see how this one goes.
12 hours in and they'd broken the computers four times. This challenge is going awesome!
And of course Cambia being heavily pregnant means she's struggling to get through her required novel, never mind continue putting canned soup on the table.
Progress. They're willing to eat and talk together!
I had her apologize at this point, hoping really hard she'd have twins and there would be no more drama in the household.
Then she officially announced her pregnancy, in case it wasn't obvious to Victor. He acted duly surprised.
And rubbed the belly despite being exhausted.

More progress on her books. She's through two at this point and got an opportunity to write a biography for one of the locals. Yay.
Nott trying to get homework help from her little sister. Yes, she still fails at school.
And Helga is on the honor roll and still manages to work on her chess skills.
Baby time! Will Cambia have her boy?
Well either way she's having it alone. I don't blame Victor for not wanting to be there to see her give birth to another man's baby.
A familiar sight, though I wish Victor had come. :(
WE HAVE A BOY! Meet Barri who is clumsy (like his daddy) and artistic. Barri means clumsy according to my dictionary. He also has his dad's green coloring.
And then guess who decided to follow her home. Cambia is totally giving Victor the 'don't start drama' face...

Despite getting his ass kicked again, Devon decided to stick around and help make more potential heirs since one is not enough for a poll. *sigh*
And Cambia is back to eating alone and being ignored by her daughter who is trying not to fail high school and write five novels at the same time.

Last baby! This time Cambia wants another girl. I want a boy since there are a ton of ineligible girls already.
Cambia spending time with Barri. Devon has stopped calling, which is a shame. I want to patch her relationship with Victor, but I hate to think Barri won't know his biological father.
Victor managed to get to 10 Handiness so he's skilling like mad for his Logic. He's halfway to his LTWish! He also wrote a well received fiction novel for the week.
Well that looks like it hurts.
You don't have to look like you're enjoying her pain there Victor.
Hell. They have a long way to go before things are better. :(
He did wave her off before she left for the hospital, so there's that right?
Devon arrived to help carry the TWIN GIRLS! GAH! I think that's Torfa he's holding who is an Evil/Virtuoso. Her sister Hyrja (who is also green like daddy) is insane/athletic. Well the heir race just got interesting. <.<
Devon wisely did not come home with them. Instead Torfa was teleported home by the babysitter.
But then an Opportunity to write a new book came Victor's way. And Devon, YES DEVON, called him up and asked him to write him a nice juicy drama novel, because Devon, apparently really likes drama in his life.
YOU DON'T SAY DEVON?! Needless to say the book is called "How Devon Stole My Girlfriend" and it was a bestseller.
And then the week was up with another failed challenge (Nott wrote two books, Cambia 3 1/2, Victor 2 and Bestla 1), but like it began ends with a birthday.

Next time...I have no idea this is as far as I got. However non-heir poll time! It took Cambia so long to rope in a guy who can give her heir babies (through no fault of her own) that by the time the younger twins become teenagers she'll be an elder. So Non-heir time to decide which of Victor's currently teenager, but rapidly-approaching-young-adult daughters will get to stay in the house to help raise their half siblings until the true heir is old enough to continue the legacy properly.
