he lives in the past.....
always wandering what if, what if?
knowing he can't change anything but the future and the now.
he wonders why the past is always that much better.
he rushes into everything
taking day by day by day.
realizing the past is not anything more than a dream now.
everything he sees in the past is his perception nowadays.
he seeks change change change.
to no avail.
never enough change for this kid at heart.
he reaches out....left and right....does anyone understand?
will anyone ever understand?
and then he realizes it doesn't matter if anyone understands.
acceptance.....acceptance is all you need.
in an idealistic world he is far too realistic.
so much so he beats himself down.
just to know that he can get right back up.
new....if only everything were new......he thinks.
but then again....another part of him remembers.
remembers....familiarity is how he got where he is.
and quality is ALWAYS better than quantity.
he does so many things to help people out, to be noticed, to be appreciated....and he never never knows why.
he wants to be the one who lingers in your mind,
as the one who changed your life.
helped you to open your eyes.
to see things from all angles.
to stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about bettering others.
he wants you to know that he'd give his life for you.....even if you are a stranger to him.
even if he hurts you.
just because he knows in his heart and in his mind that you are a good person within one minute of talking to you.
he wants to be known as the guy who can't function unless his mind is always being fed.
fed the fruits of life....the fruits of his labor....the fruits of his neverending quest to help people.
he wants to be recognized.
just because.
but he doesn't want to point it out to you.....because he is too good for that.
he wants to show you the brilliance he knows he has....but cant tell anyone.
just because.
