What is the matter with people. Those people over there, right there yes right where I'm pointing. Those despicable piss-ant morons, those mouth-breathing self-important fucktards, those people lacking any human sensitivity, any idea of what constitutes tact or compassion, those people so oblivious that they don't even realize they're turning the screw.
You don't like gays? Whoop dee-fucking-doo. This time right now? Right when we're scared and pissed and not sure if this was an isolated incident or if we should be preparing for something more and helping friends deal with post-trauma? This is not the time to tell us so. Every other day of the year we will try to contain our frustration at having the same conversations over and over, we will swallow our disdain at someone who insults us to our faces and still wants a polite rebuttal, we will try to make ourselves as likeable and approachable as possible. But now? You want us to do that now?
