My Weekend

So Friday, Chuck calls me when he got off work and asked if I wanted to go out with him that night. I was reluctant, but then he mentioned that Kyle, this cute guy he works with at the GAP was coming too. So I was in. Anyway, I picked up Chuck, we met Kyle, and all headed over to one of our(Chuck and Mine) old favorites, La Playa Maya. Good Mexican food people. After that we went to Chili's on University, where we met Sergio. He's one of Chuck's old friends. It was really funny too, cause it had been like over a year since I had seen Sergio. He was all like, "Wow, you sure got a makeover." Cause I was such a dork then. Then Adam(waiter) came over and gave us all free shakes. It was much fun.

After Chili's we dropped Kyle off, cause he was meeting some friends at One. Chuck and I were a little disappointed, but we feel that Club One is too trashy....and there's a $15 cover. So we went to the Village and Kyle was supposed to meet up with us later...but never did. Oh well. The Village was entertaining, but an overall disappointment. While Chuck and I had tons of fun making fun of all the ugly people...we were saddened by the lack of pretty people. And I kept getting felt up by old Mexicans...ugggggh! Chuck and I ended up leaving there around 2:00 or so, and stopped at the Whataburger on Berry. Y'all know me and my toquitos. LOL. There we ran into like 12 people from my high school class. It was a lot of fun...I got to explain me being gay, and they filled me in on all the gossip. i.e. who's pregnant, who's married, etc. Finally, I dropped Chuck off and went home.

Saturday morning my dad wakes me up and makes me take him to Home Depot so he can rent an airless paint sprayer for our house. I hate that he doesn't have a truck anymore. Damn that company car, now anytime something needs towed or hauled, I have to do it. grrr. Later I met my friend Cody and his girlfriend Ashley in Arlington. And we all went to Northeast Mall. I bought some boxers at Banana Republic and saw Sergio again. I didn't even know he worked there. And then I bought the cutest red sweater from J. Crew. We looked through Saks so I could drool over the Burberry stuff...God I love that company. I wish I was really rich. Then I left them and went out to my grandparents' house. Where I just did some laundry and played with my one year old cousin, Claire.

Finally, today, Sunday, I have done quite a bit. I did some mowing...not regular mowing mind you...This was with a 20 ft industrial drag-type mower conditioner. God, I love Ag life. Then I took my granddad up to one of our fields. It it is about a 30 minute drive from the house. Its a lot of dirt farm roads. Anyway, we had to pick up this pipe wagon, and bring it back to the house. Well the thing is 30 feet long, and my granddad always insists that I drive, because his leg always gets sore from the bitch of a clutch on his old truck. So here I am, truck-driver John, pulling a 30 ft. pipe trailer on one lane country roads that are forever winding! It was actually pretty fun...but stressful.

Oh yeah and I talked to Chris a few times in there.
