a poem
Well I don't have to go to church today. They canceled it because they were worrying about the hurricane and flooding and what not. It kind of sucks because I actually wanted to go today. O well I guess that means that I don't get to escape my mom and sister for a few hours. Thank God they're still sleeping. They'll be up in a few hours though and then it's off to Grama's house for the normal family get together. o joy.
Here's a poem that I wrote. However it needs a title. So pleease read it over and give me any suggestions that you may have. I hate when I can't come up with a title. It gets aggrevating. And sorry that I have to ask you guys to help me. I appreciate it very much. So let me know what you think. Constructive criticism works too you guys.
I picked up my pencil,
deciding that I would write
Figuring I'd do it this time,
make everything just right
I'd write that one poem,
that one they'd call the best
That one poem so perfect
they'd choose it over the rest
I finally thought I was ready
I felt I could really do it this time
Everything would be fitted in place
and it would most definitely rhyme
Soon my thoughts begen to wander,
endlessly searching my mind
Searching for the perfect topic
Hoping to make a glorious find
Writing that one poem
became something I couldn't do
Because when my pencil met the paper
all I could write was y-o-u

This didn't really have a direction, in other words I didn't specifically write it for somebody. I just wrote it because I wanted to.
