Today was definitely the most interesting day so far this summer. Sally and I went and stayed the night at Sarah's house. It was fun I suppose. We just stayed up and watched movies and talked and what not. But this morning her boyfriend came over and hung out for a while and then Sally and I had to leave. Well we went outside and her right front tire was going flat. So we had to change it out and put the spare on there. Well it had been raining earlier that morning but it wasn't at the moment. So the four of us, who had never actually changed a tired before, started to change the tire. Well Sarah's drive way is a hill and Sally was parked up it. She was an idiot and didn't have her emergency brakes on. Well after we got the jack to work and the car moving up some her car shifted back and started to roll. Well Chris's car (Sarah's boyfriend) was right behind Sally's and let's just say she came close to hitting his car. The three of them ran to the back to hold it from hitting it. Chris fell and scrapped his knee because the pavement was wet. And then I ran to the driver's side and put on the emergency brake. It had already begun to rain at this point and started to pick up a bit more. Well when the car had shifted back it ran over the jack a little bit making it lean and well to where it wasn't able to lift the car anymore at the moment. So we had to make Chris move his car into the grass. Sally then had to move hers up off of the jack and then to the bottom of the drive way to where she was on level ground. By this point and time the rain had definitely picked up and was really starting to come down heavy. So we were all getting soaked. I then rolled the tire down the drive way to Chris and it curved and started rolling down the street towards the actual semi busy road, but thankfully it stopped in somebody's yard and Sally went to go get it. Then once again we took the jack and placed it under the car and started to lift it. Well after we got it up Chris and I both tried like crazee to get the hub cap to come off. That wasn't working out to great. We were both ready to just break it. Then Sally gets it off with no problem. She told us we couldn't do it because we have big fingers. (Too much popping the nuckles for me and well Chris is a guy and they have big fingers.) Anyways, it's now pouring rain and we're definitely all soaked by this point and then the lug nuts want to present a problem. They were on there really tight. But eventually one by one they actually came off. I accidentally dropped the spare tire on the hub cap breaking a few pieces of it off around the edges and naturally Sally had a cow. Then we FINALLY got the spare on and put the lug nuts back on and we were done. Chris had a scrapped up knee and we were all soaking wet but at least we could then drive home. Sarah gave us towels and then we were on our way home.
Most definitely an interesting morning huh? Anybody else had anything really interesting happen to them yet this summer? If so feel free to share it with me. Yea so basically I'm done for now. Leave me a comment if you're up to it. Love you all.
no matter what
a million miles wouldn't change a thing
