If there's one thing that I've learned over the past while, it's to try and take things as they come. Sometimes, all you can do is shrug, smile, and try to make the best of a situation. Sometimes, you have to laugh when you want to cry, sometimes you have to cry when you want to laugh. Once in awhile, you have to accept the fact that you can be ( Read more... )

Whoa! Both of you! Claws back in!

LJ, perhaps. Not pepsicolagurl.

Also, I had gone to Vancouver and found that out. Kind of a surprise to walk in and find someone random opening the door. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in that. My number does work, I'm out of minutes atm, and without working, can't afford them.

And to answer the previous question, there's a cheque waiting for me at head office (apparently, it got sent back from our old mail address), so all I have to do is pick it up and put it in the bank in order to give it over to you. I admit, the easiest way may be to transfer the funds over to your boyfriend's account (sorry, avoiding names to protect the innocent), and for you to get it from there.

I assumed that he would give you my home number, after I told you that I was out of minutes. My bad.

As for a time? I don't know. I'm hoping to get back to Vancouver soon enough to finish up the last few details.

Only thing: appreciate it if you don't call too late at night. The mother tends to go to bed early. I'd rather not wake her up. Otherwise, the phone's usually free.

*shrugs*

It just struck me as crass to post something like that after such an emotional and cathartic post.

If it was necessary, that's fine.

Quite honestly, *I* would have preferred another venue for that, but I understand now why it ended up on this particular post. Not exactly what I wanted to see there, either, but hey. Shit happens.

Just trying to avoid any unpleasantness. I was in far too good of a mood when that was posted, that's all.

But I gotta admit: claws = hawt. Hee. (oh, please, like I can never NOT make a joke)
