Citizen Pepsi
Okay, listen up. I have tried to be as polite and loving to everyone who visits me in my journal. As Lisa Simpson said, "I am woman, hear me roar!" I am not going to be ashamed of what I like. This is a free land and I am free to be with you and me!
That said, here are some of my values which are echoed by the drink of MY choice.
Fitness and well-being: Pepsi is one of the leading sponsors of America on the Move which encourages all people to eat better and get exercise. In fact, they also sponsor Balance First, which is a curriculum given to teachers free of charge to promote learning about fitness and eating well. Current research suggests that 13% of American children aged 6-11 and 14% of adolescents aged 12-19 are overweight, a statistic that has nearly tripled in the past 20 years. It's our goal to turn that trend around!
Promoting Beautiful People of Color - I am not and have never been a hater! I love all skins of every kind. Pepsi also believes in beautiful people with their program Smart Spot Dance which is a solution to defeat obsesity in African-American communities!
Protecting the environment - Pepsi recycles and also promotes environmental stewardship everywhere.
I will share more later, but first I have to catch up with Brian and tell him there was NO WAY I was going out with Brad! He doesn't like Pepsi Jazz and therefore is so not for me.
