Glory to last weekend
80s party on friday = lots of fun!
PIRATES 2 = freaking amazing!!!! I have to see it again in theatres! I can't wait til it comes out on DVD so I can be as obsessive with this one as I was the last one, i.e. watching it ten times in one week. And its going to be excruciating to wait til next year for the last installment. There are like five what ifs? running thru my head right now.
Im at work and about to get started actually doing something. I went to a meeting and Ive been researching about turpentine detectors. Which is near impossible to find, and the rest of the people in the meeting acknowledge that. So I have a few ideas and that leaves me with some time to piddle away and not get some heads shaking at me, cuz technically this should be taking me longer than expected. If you followed that then congrats.
Been applying for quite a few part time jobs for the fall. I just need one with 10 to 15 hours. I have the vet clinic for 11 hrs, but I need more than that if I expect to bring in any kind of helpful dough. That and I need something to take up more of my free time. the less few time I have, the better I tend to do in my classes. My grade in Organic Chemistry (second time around) and my chances of getting into vet school down the road count on this.
Still working on devising a plan to rid my dad's money control issues from my life. I wish I had the means to be financially independent TODAY. I dont expect to have money out the wazoo and have a mansion or something. I just want to be able to scrap by on my own without incurring massive debt. So at the moment, I am stuck with my dad helping me thru and sticking it in my face every chance he gets while still being slightly in debt. I just want out soooo badly. It makes me sick to my stomach even now to think about it.
