A few blogworthy thoughts, collected from my Plurk and elaborated upon hurr.
Romeo is actually using Internet Exploarer.
- I downloaded IE 8 just for shits and giggles (and also for a fallback if I ever needed one... yes, I'm sure I could download Chrome but Chrome is for bareback setups), and also because they say it's a bajillion times better. Well, Bill, so far, so good. After an initial hiccup, it's been like a dream since then, and it actually loads some sites faster than Firefox.
Romeo says speaking of retarded, that new Enervon commercial with Kim Chiu is horribly retarded.
- Not only is the pitch of her voice very grating, she does, indeed, scream "happiness" like a retard. leiron would smack her in the face for even attempting to sell us something so foolish!
Romeo says speaking of commercials, their advertising for T2 is very, very clever, even if it's most probably fake.
- T2 is Maricel Soriano's new horror movie, and that alone makes it look promising; plus it doesn't deal with your ordinary ghosts and spirits, for this time, the villains are engkantos. The aforementioned advertising spot involves a rural nanay who tells a story of some kid (wasn't sure if hers) getting abducted by them earth spirits, followed by a well-done, eerie "Naniniwala ka na ba?", which, even though you would guess that this testimonial was just a paid advertisement, does work effectively well for the gullible. Clever advertising, that's what it is.
Anyway, all of you should go read this.
