Reception/admin person in an office furniture store. I swear, customers are trying to drive me nuts.
I posted previously about the regular number of times a day I get calls from customers who rip my ear drums to shreds by noisily picking up the cradles of their phones AFTER I've given my cheery greeting. I loathe telephones with a passion.
What REALLY pisses me off are people who won't bother listening to the entire phone message left by one of our sales reps regarding delivery of their furniture. They simply see our store name in their Call Display and call me back with "Yeah, someone there just tried to call me?", expecting me to know who of the 12 store reps or 7 outside reps would've called them. If I ask if the sales rep left a name, they say, "Oh, I didn't bother listening to the message. Don't you know?"
