Her Felipe's Futures
There's spoilers out about who the HEA is on the net. What a perfect day for it too - it's ANZAC Day in Australia, which meant that I was home to read all about it, and my sons have friends over, so I can post at length. Well I think that Sookie hasn't been working for vampires for a while - she's mostly been working for Eric. Eric wants her to read outside Victor's club etc. It hasn't been a sort of paid contract dealie since Sophie Anne died, and Louisiana was taken over. So even though she had a life of adventure and beatings, that's been mostly about vampire involvement. I doubt that vampires will totally drop her all together - but Felipe won't be able to haul her off to Las Vegas. Bill is still around, and the last mystery, Bill was raring to go.
It's also entirely possible that Sookie sees just how much her death would impact others, and how shocking Sam's death was to her. Maybe that cures her of her racier tendencies - maybe that is what makes her think. Whereas before she probably thought she didn't matter.
And I think that considering all the issues that Sam himself has had that Sookie involved herself in, it's possible that she could still live a life full of excitement, but not above her level. On the upside, she certainly wouldn't have to spend days and weeks alone.
