His long legs hanging over Bill? Worth watching way more. So to the weekly ravings about how much True Blood sucks. I didn't hear many spoilers this week of substance, beyond What the fuck? It's hard to say what that sort of spoiler means, really. And unfortunately, it was a direct contrast this week - Breaking Bad Season Five premiered right ( Read more... )

what the fuck is this shit, travails of the svm fandom, the art of arse backwards, ch & svm is not so amateur, tb - omg season five sucks, vamps=dangerous liaisons, tb - the other white meat, sookie stackhouse - 28, rage against the machine

Just you wait...next week will have you in epileptic fits of rage.

Props though for Sam Trammell's acting ability. Skin walking aside...the way he acts and moves his body to be the other character in his skin (of course that statement makes only a very specific type of sense)is excellent.

Jason...oh my, I had to watch that scene more than once. The first time I thought, "wait, what?" Then the second time I thought, "but that's exactly what you're doing, you idiot." So yeah, just wait for ALL the Jason you'll be getting next episode. Fuck I hate Mark Hudis.

Well, since you loved Pam's speech this episode, next week will have you rolling :D . She glamours that Tracy of Tracy's Togs who was a racist idiot into complete submission, making her Tara's "slave" and Tara doesn't even bat an eyelash. Though kudos for the costume department for dressing the two of them in similar Japanese style dresses.

Every episode Bill just gets worse and worse. Gah. Stephen Moyer directed tonight's episode so we were treated to a Bill flashback of him visiting his daughter in her sickbed, explaining he was immortal, her (of course) begging to be turned because she's rotting inside and him saying "Nope. Sorry. Lolz." It was so stupid - just an extra little rub in her face before her death. This flashback is brought on by his declaring that he was a father! Gasp! And so therefore cannot drain the poor woman tied to Salome's bed because she has a 4 month old daughter! But he does it anyway, because, you know, peer pressure.

Eric was actually kind of normal in this episode. And that's all I have to say about him because I think he only had three scenes.

I'm also kind of supporting a Russell and Steve pairing. Talbot who?

And that Breaking Bad video was fantastic. I love the music from Requiem for a Dream. It's the only movie to have ever left my stomach feeling all knotted up afterward.

Fright Night is great. I saw that about 2 weeks ago. I felt bad for the boy's friend though, who they ended up killing.

Oh, I bet it'll be bad. This is the height of the season, where I'm supposed to be worried about everything, and apart from the slut shaming, I can't master a crap.

Sam Trammell is an excellent actor - they have a lot of talent in the show. I can't help but think that they got that talent back when the writing and show were good, and I wonder how it's going to go with negotiating the actors. I'm not sure when we'll hear about it.

Mr. Minty gasped and snorted through that scene way before I did - so apparently he understands the dialect of "stupid man" better than I do.

Oh yeah - I love it when women get hurt and beaten up, particularly when so much justice is delivered to the sexist arseholes.

I can't wait to see that one then - I love nothing better than a morally weak coward. Bill fits the...well...bill, really well that way. As for Eric - meh, they should write him out. I'm sick of his angsty looks, and I'm sick of Bill as well. Eric has less purpose than Bill though - this whole Nora storyline died in the arse this episode, and it's not really a great amount of story anyway.

Breaking Bad is a fantastic show. I just love the characters so much. I try to sell it to people like a fucking mad fangirl. :D :D

I felt bad for him too that he didn't survive. But then, I like shows where they can kill characters that *matter*. Makes an impact. If only AB could see the same.
