(no subject)
Just got back from Waterstone's after seeing which volumes of Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist they had and which ones I need to get 2nd-hand from amazon. I know I've been a very bad blogger for not updating in the last couple of weeks but I've been very busy with the thesis. Right now I'm halfway through my 2nd draft of chapter 2 and I'm immersed in analyzing Light, the Elric brothers and a whole bunch of other things.
The boy's gone home for a bit but I went over to his place a few weeks ago with some food that I cooked, and we had lunch with mutual friends :). And then, there was a small misunderstanding on my part but it's happily sorted out now. That being said, not too focused on him right now; I just need to get a decent grade on the thesis, God willing. Also, booked my flight home last month so I'm hopefully leaving England on September 12. Can't believe how fast this year has gone by but if God permits, I hope to return at the end of next year again, with a Tier 1 visa :). Student life's been hectic. Most of the people I know went to visit places in this one year but I didn't leave Manchester a single time :(. I was going to go to Derbyshire yesterday but I changed my mind because I needed to keep working. Basically, what happened was, my supervisor forgot that we were to have our final meeting on July 30, so he postponed it a week later and that's why I was nearly a sitting duck for almost a week since I couldn't start corrections without knowing my mistakes :(. Oh well.
