I really should be more regular with my updates. But I'd recently been very depressed because I had so many things going on at the same time but God willing, it's getting better now. I got my 2nd semester marks and I am grateful that I improved vastly from the last semester. I am slightly worried about the grades my external examiners would give me but that's out of my hands. But for now, I will concentrate on my thesis because that carries a lot of weight.
I am ploughing through though Foucault and trying to understand how to link it to Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist. Can't say it's an easy topic since Foucault says a lot of crap and I need to pick out which bits to focus on. I guess the good part is, Foucault's said a lot of interesting things about the penal system, surveillance and incarceration. Not to mention that power and knowledge are inseparable. God, I don't even know what I'm trying to prove. Anyone on my flist familar with these two manga and Foucault? I'd love to hear from you.
