More more plumbing stuff
We last left off at being stuck between replacing the drain and the whole sink. . . .
Decided to replace just drain. Drain still stuck. Bought big weapony plumbing wrench. Drain still stuck. Asked friend to come over and unscrew drain. YAY! Began to clean sink for new drain install. Lots of black gunk. BOO!
Then the overflow drain was discovered. Crammed full of the blackest black bacterial gunk goo imaginable. . . worse than zombie brain goo. They should use this in horror movies. Gagging from smell, feeling toxic even with rubber gloves on. . . .
Change of plans: replace everything! Went to Lowe's. Bought sink and faucet.
Now for the measuring and screwing/bolting/tightening and caulking!! CAULKING!!!!!!!
My list of manly skills keeps growing: basic auto repair, woodworking, computer building/rebuilding, and now plumbing. Next, there is drywall installation and repair. Oooooo.
