FUS
So I haven't updated in like forever. So here's some recent things I've done:
Friday:
-Work from 6:30-9...vacuuming, cleaning chalkboards, cleaning bathrooms, mopping, sweeping, cleaning a water fountain. Oh, and the boss prays before each time we start working, so I thought that was cool. He reads a little thing from the Bible and then we say a prayer and get on with our work.
-Foundations of Catholicism quiz...ugh, it was so vague nobody in my class knows whether they did well or not because so many answers could have fit for so many of the blanks that there were.
-Household fair in the J.C. Williams Center
-Mythology...luckily no quiz this time cuz some ppl didn't get the right book from the bookstore -Out on the hill in front of Francis playing Twister and talking with Sharmila, Amy, Lizzy, Chris, Horacio, Maverick, Mike, & some other guy who I can't remember the name of.
-Francis/More party. Oh my gosh was that crazy fun. It was outside on a hill and they set up a massive slip 'n' slide. I went down so many times. It hurts today, but the pain is worth it. If you saw the massive bruises I got on my hip bones you'd freak out but it was sooo fun! I also have bruises on my knees & elbows. Cuz I'd just run and leap into the air like Superman and then slide down the hill. I was glad I got there when it started cuz it didn't go on forever cuz ppl kept getting hurt. One girl somehow slid under the tarp thing and people ran over her and she had to go to the hospital cuz they thought she had a concussion and broke her arm. It was slightly cool though because the minute she got hurt everything went silent cuz people were praying. I heard she's back on campus but idk how she's doing. Chris said he couldn't go down the slide cuz his shoulder would get dislocated...cuz I guess it happens easy since a ski accident he had in December. And yes, this point will be relevant towards the end of my story. lol. There was also a dunk tank, hot dog eating contest, food, 3-legged race, dancing, pinhata, etc. It was so fun.
-Then me & Chris went to get my Twister towel cuz a bunch of us were gonna go play twister on the hill in the dark. So we set it all up and we're w/ this girl Lauren, waiting for the rest of our friends to come and I tell Chris to stretch so he can possibly have a shot at winning since my hips hurt so bad from the slide. He's getting ready and starts doing jumping jacks when I hear him say "I need to go to the hospital, I just dislocated my shoulder." And me & Lauren were sooo freaked out cuz we saw his arm just like hanging there. So he picked up his stuff to go find and RA in Francis to drive him to the hospital and he's like trying to unlock the door, but his 1 arm is immobile and the other is shaking like crazy (he said that's adrenaline that comes out when you get hurt really bad). So we get in and he asks me to hold his stuff but I can barely even take it from him cuz he's shaking so violently. And Lauren is almost throwing up cuz the sight of his shoulder freaks him out so much. So he goes in the RA office and luckily since he's dislocated his shoulder so many times he gets it popped back in so then he says he's fine. And then a little while later we're all back outside again cuz he says he's ok now as long as he doesn't put his arm down.
-Me, Lauren, Sharmila, Meghan, Chris, and Steve go walk down to the coffee house.
-We go to Tommy More cuz ppl are making cookies and playing games and eating goldfish and having fun.
-Me, Sharmila, Chris, Greg, Sonya, Bob, Marian, and a few other girls go watch Mission Impossible in a Tommy More common room. I was so ADDed since it was after midnight, I had no clue what was going on in the movie.
-Then I slept over at Sharmila's cuz her roommate Lizzy had to go home for the weekend.
-Now I'm here waiting for her to wake up. I got up at 8:30 even though I went to sleep at 2:30.
Today we're gonna eat, maybe go to Walmart to look for a costume for Sharmila, go to the health center cuz some guy hit Sharm in the arm with a frisbee and now it's all swollen and she can't feel 2 of her fingers, play some fun games at night hopefully, maybe I'll do laundry if I have time, guys' soccer game at 1, etc. Chris was gonna have a party in his dorm tonight, but idk if that's gonna happen now that he got hurt. He doesn't even know if he can go to his cross country practices...and we were gonna play manhunt tonight but idk if that's gonna happen either.
So that's my life lately.
