Gas was above $3 here right after the hurricane. It increased about 20 cents in one day at the gas station just up the street. Puts Jake's and my $76 monthly transit passes in perspective.

Jacob was a lot younger than most of us who worked there last semester, so that might have contributed to his quietness. I never got the feeling he didn't like any of us (well, except maybe Alena and Amber when she'd ruffle his hair all up). He always seemed like a cool guy. Definitely had a sense of humor.

Glad to hear everything is going well!

He was always really quiet around me. Although that could be because of me complimenting him on his jacket and him thinking I was another Amber or something. Who knows. I, however, am not the one who had a bit of a crush on him. Katie. He loosened up a bit at the Open-to-Close, especially after Jonalynn and I kept giving him beer. He seems like a hilarious guy once he actually starts talking.
Did anyone actually like Alena?
I hate gas prices. Not conducive to my Pimp Ship and its ability to eat gas.

Whatever. Everyone had a crush on Jacob. But I'm quite happy with my own Jacob, thank you very much. And he'll hate me because I called him that.

He's a bassist! That appeals to the "cute musician" part of my psyche.

I'm glad Joe's doing well in the job, and that things are going smoothly otherwise. It took us a couple weeks to feel like things were improving, too.

Remember now, I didn't know him that well. I left before you all got to know him better. So I merely see him as "funny, cute musician guy."

I don't actually think he didn't like us, but it seemed like he could care less to befriend anyone in the office. Now he's the life of the party we call production. A total 180.
